When you complete an adoption from Guatemala, you are usually required to have two post placement reports: the first after six months, and the second after one year. This is not a country requirement, but an agency one. Some people find these reports (done by an interview) stressful, annoying and invasive; personally I enjoy the opportunity to discuss Ella’s progress.
